How to edit custom ingredients
After a user creates any custom ingredients (could be a fermentable, hop, extra, or yeast), the next time you open the list to browse ingredients the system will look in all the existing recipes and detect any previously created custom ingredients and show them in the list.
If you edit the original custom ingredient's name, that change will be reflected in the ingredient list.
As an example to show how this works (see below):
- Create a custom fermentable (example called 'Custom ingred 1 marko') and save the recipe.
- Next time going in to add an ingredient, it showed in the list.
- Then we edited that original ingredients name to ''Custom ingred 1 marko edited'
- Then the next time we went to add an ingredient, the updated name shows in the list.
To edit ingredients that show up in the list you have to edit those ingredients in the underlying recipe where they were originally added.
