How to do a Whirlpool with the G40
How to do a whirlpool with the G40, G70 and G70²?
You can use our Whirlpool Arm which attaches onto the recirculation pipe work to easily create a whirlpool with no manual stirring necessary.
Alternatively, after the boil has finished, turn off the heating and either insert the counterflow chiller or the recirculation hose and barb into the recirculation opening. Insert the other end of the hose down between the support ring and the body of the boiler until the end of the hose is just below the surface of the wort and is angled so that it is not pointing directly down.
Start the pump and fully open the 1/2” ball valve. If you wish to whirlpool at lower temperatures, use the counterflow chiller and turn on the water until the boiler temperature reaches the required whirlpool temperature.
