Several factors can trigger an alert activation, with elevation level being a frequent cause. At higher altitudes, the boiling point of liquids decreases because of the reduced atmospheric pressure. Consequently, for every 150m of elevation gain, the boiling point of water falls by approximately 0.5°C (32.9°F).

To adjust your boiling temperature, proceed as follows:

On the controller:

1. Navigate to MENU
2. Select Settings
3. Adjust the Boil temperature

On the App:

1. Go to preferences
2. Modify the Boil temperature

This adjustment should eliminate the overheating alert, allowing you to receive your boil alerts through the App or Controller as usual.
