Should you need to store your Grainfather equipment long-term, we recommend the following:
First, you will want to clean your equipment (e.g. your G30, G40, G70, S40, GF30, SF50 SF70 Conical Fermenter, etc.) thoroughly while disassembling.
For the things like G30 pump and micro pipework, be sure to clean and dry these parts carefully and fully.
For the GC4 Glycol Chiller, you can empty the glycol from the unit using the instructions for changing the glycol (without refilling the unite with glycol), making sure to rinse and clean the filter as well.
After all parts are clean and very dry, we recommend storing your equipment in a sealed plastic bag with some desiccant sachets to help maintain a dry environment during storage.
