The TILT Hydrometer is a Bluetooth-based device that does not have access to Wi-Fi or the internet. Because of this, the TILT Hydrometer needs to be connected to another device that does have internet access to log the readings to the cloud.
If you want your TILT Hydrometer data to be logged continuously, you either need to leave your phone next to the fermenter with the TILT app open or use another device such as a Raspberry Pi running the TILT Pi software to act as a gateway device.
Alternatively, you can get our GCAST and add as many Tilts as you like.
