An E1 error indicates the error  "temperature probe not connected or open-circuit".

In this instance, something could be wrong with the temperature probe connection or the cable itself. We recommend opening the control box and checking if the temperature sensor connection is disconnected from the terminals or not. 

Note: This only applies to the G30 Original Controller and does not apply to the current G30 Controller.
