The mill is designed to crush standard brewing malted Grains (eg pale malts). 

Rolled or flaked adjuncts (eg. oats, rice, corn) do not need to be crushed before brewing. If you are milling a mixture of grain that contains a high amount of these adjuncts, you may experience some difficulties. Note: Whole corn cannot be crushed by this mill.
