You should not transfer your wort to a fermenter via the recirculation pipework, rather via the tap at the bottom of your S40.
As the S40 does not have a filter on the pump, pumping your cooled wort through the recirculation pipework for transfer can allow hops and other debris to clog and potentially cause irreversible damage to your S40 pump.
To avoid this issue, the S40 includes a ball valve tap at the base of the boiler for wort transfer to your fermenter.
